Year 4 Teacher – KS2 Primary School

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Year 4 Teacher to join a friendly, forward‑thinking primary school in Knowsley, Liverpool. You will take full responsibility for a Year 4 class, creating a safe and engaging environment that supports high standards of learning.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high‑quality lessons aligned with the National Curriculum, focusing on Reading, Writing and Maths.
• Manage all aspects of teaching, from lesson planning to assessment, reporting and tracking pupil progress.
• Implement inclusive and differentiated strategies to meet the needs of every learner.
• Contribute to school‑wide assessment and improvement strategies.
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate actively in the wider school community.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS); early‑career teachers are welcome.
• Proven classroom experience in Key Stage 2, preferably Year 4.
• Commitment to inclusive teaching and community impact.
• Reliable, reflective practitioner with a desire for professional growth.
• Enhanced DBS check and eligibility to work in the UK.
