Year 4 Teacher – Primary School (Barnet)

About the role

We are looking for a Year 4 Teacher to join a friendly, inclusive primary school in Barnet from September 2026. The role sits within a supportive Key Stage 2 team that values high expectations and personalised learning for every pupil.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, curriculum‑aligned lessons for Year 4.
• Plan, prepare and assess learning across the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
• Support pupils to make strong academic and personal progress.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and the wider school community.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Enhanced DBS certificate with the Update Service.
• Right to work in the UK.
