Year 4 Teacher – Primary School (Full‑time)

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Year 4 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Plumstead. The school provides a supportive and inclusive environment where young learners develop strong foundations in literacy, numeracy, creativity and personal growth.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the national curriculum for Year 4.
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere where every pupil can succeed.
• Monitor, assess and record pupil progress, using data to inform teaching.
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning.
• Collaborate with colleagues, support staff and school leadership to enhance the learning experience.
• Build constructive relationships with pupils, parents and carers.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching at Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2, or in a comparable role.
• Strong subject and curriculum knowledge relevant to Year 4.
• Enhanced DBS certificate with the Update Service.
• Right to work in the United Kingdom.
