About the role
Prospero Teaching is recruiting a Year 5 Class Teacher for a thriving Ofsted “Good” primary school in West London. The role is full‑time, permanent and involves delivering the National Curriculum to Key Stage 2 pupils while contributing to the school’s supportive community.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons for Year 5 students.
- Assess and mark student work, providing constructive feedback.
- Organise and attend parent evenings and communicate progress.
- Maintain accurate records and uphold school policies.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and fellow teachers on school initiatives.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Minimum one year of Key Stage 2 teaching experience in the UK.
- Current safeguarding training completed within the last year.
- Right to work in the UK and an enhanced DBS registered with the online update service.
- Two professional child‑related references covering the last two years.
