About the role
Hays Education is seeking enthusiastic Year 5 teachers for primary schools in Deal. The positions are available on a long‑term supply basis, with immediate start dates, allowing you to support pupils as they transition to Year 6.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the Year 5 curriculum.
- Promote independence, resilience and confidence in pupils.
- Maintain high expectations and monitor pupil progress.
- Manage classroom behaviour and create a supportive learning environment.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards it.
- Experience teaching in primary education, preferably Key Stage 2.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management abilities.
- Commitment to high academic standards for all pupils.
