About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher to join a supportive primary school in Lambeth, South London, starting September 2026. The role is full‑time and covers the entire academic year, delivering the national curriculum to pupils aged 9‑10.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons across the Year 5 curriculum.
- Assess pupil progress and provide targeted feedback.
- Collaborate with Key Stage 2 colleagues to ensure consistent teaching standards.
- Maintain effective classroom management and a positive learning environment.
- Contribute to whole‑school initiatives and extracurricular activities.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in England.
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 2.
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum for Year 5.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
