About the role

Are you a motivated and enthusiastic educator ready to inspire a Year 5 class? We are partnering with a vibrant, inclusive mainstream primary school in Knowsley to appoint a dedicated Key Stage 2 class teacher. This full‑time temporary role offers the chance to make a real impact during a crucial stage of children’s development.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the classroom experience, ensuring every child transitions successfully into Key Stage 2.
• Plan and deliver high‑quality lessons aligned with the National Curriculum, focusing on Reading, Writing and Maths.
• Manage all aspects of teaching, from lesson planning and delivery to assessment, reporting and tracking pupil progress.
• Implement inclusive and differentiated teaching strategies to meet the unique needs of each learner.
• Contribute to the school’s assessment and implementation strategies, supporting high standards of achievement.
• Collaborate within a supportive team environment and contribute positively to the wider school community.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – Early‑Career Teachers are welcome to apply.
• Proven classroom experience within Key Stage 2 and familiarity with pupil progress tracking.
• Genuine commitment to inclusive teaching and a desire to make a difference in the Knowsley community.
• Reliable, reflective practitioner committed to professional growth and teamwork.
• Ability to pass an Enhanced DBS check and eligibility to work in the UK.
