About the role

We are seeking a passionate Year 5 Teacher to join our friendly primary school in Islington. The role starts in September and involves delivering engaging lessons to a class of 28 pupils while fostering a supportive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality lessons to a class of 28 Year 5 pupils.
• Plan and adapt curriculum to meet diverse learning needs.
• Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Maintain effective classroom management and a positive learning atmosphere.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) recognised in England.
• Previous experience teaching Upper Key Stage 2 (Year 4‑5).
• Strong communication and organisational abilities.
• Commitment to inclusive education and supporting pupils with additional needs.

• Lesson planning and delivery.
