About the role
Protocol Education is seeking an experienced Year 6 Intervention Teacher for a full‑time position in a welcoming junior school in Slough. The role focuses on delivering targeted intervention sessions to small groups of pupils, helping them accelerate progress before moving on to secondary school.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver intervention lessons in Maths, Reading and Grammar for groups of up to 10 pupils.
- Identify learning gaps and tailor support to meet end‑of‑Key‑Stage 2 expectations.
- Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and adjust interventions as needed.
- Collaborate with senior staff to ensure interventions align with the school’s curriculum.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching KS2, preferably Year 6.
- Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
