About the role
Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated Year 6 Teacher for a full‑time permanent position in East London, starting September 2026. The role involves delivering the Key Stage 2 curriculum to a well‑behaved, engaged cohort of pupils.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, deliver and assess Year 6 lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Maintain a positive, orderly classroom environment.
- Monitor pupil progress and provide targeted support.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development and safeguarding duties.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in England.
- Experience teaching KS2, preferably Year 6.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Passion for delivering outstanding teaching and learning.
