About the role

Academics is seeking an enthusiastic Year 6 Teacher for a two‑term contract at a two‑form entry school on the borders of Hatfield. The school is rated "Good" by OFSTED and will welcome you in September 2026 to lead a mixed‑ability class.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver lessons that align with the UK National Curriculum.
• Teach whole‑class, small‑group and individual sessions to meet diverse pupil needs.
• Set clear learning objectives, structure content and sequence lessons effectively.
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour and uphold a disciplined learning environment.
• Engage pupils using varied teaching methods and respond confidently to subject‑related queries.

Required profile
