About the role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Year 6 Teacher to join a friendly, forward‑thinking primary school in South Liverpool. You will take full responsibility for a Year 6 class, creating a safe and engaging environment that supports high standards of learning.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high‑quality lessons aligned with the National Curriculum, focusing on reading, writing and maths.
• Take full responsibility for a Year 6 class, including lesson planning, teaching, assessment and reporting.
• Implement inclusive and differentiated strategies to meet the needs of all learners.
• Track pupil progress and contribute to the school’s assessment and improvement strategies.
• Collaborate with colleagues and support the wider school community.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in England.
• Proven classroom experience in Key Stage 2, preferably Year 5 or Year 6.
• Commitment to inclusive teaching and community impact.
• Reliable, reflective practitioner with a desire for professional growth.
• Enhanced DBS check and eligibility to work in the UK.
