About the role
Are you a Psychology graduate eager to gain practical experience supporting children and young people with additional needs? A specialist SEN school in Slough is seeking a dedicated and compassionate ABA Assistant to join their team, offering hands‑on experience using Applied Behaviour Analysis.
Key responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small‑group support using ABA‑based strategies tailored to individual students.
- Support students in developing communication, independence, social skills, and positive behaviours.
- Follow individual behaviour and learning programmes under the guidance of experienced staff.
- Work closely with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
Required profile
- Compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic about supporting children and young people.
- A confident communicator with a genuine interest in SEN and behavioural support.
- Motivated to gain practical experience before pursuing a career in psychology, behaviour therapy, education, or a related field.
