Account Analyst – Middle East

About the role

The Account Analyst will support PIMCO’s Middle East and Africa businesses by analysing economic and market trends, preparing customised portfolio reports and collaborating with investment professionals to deliver high‑quality service to clients.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver client reports covering performance, trading activity, valuation and risk metrics.
• Analyse portfolio data, perform performance attribution and automate reporting processes.
• Utilise Excel, macros, query tools and Bloomberg/Yieldbook (where applicable) to generate market and portfolio insights.
• Produce ad‑hoc client and internal information requests while maintaining accuracy and timeliness.

Required profile

• 0‑2 years experience in asset management or financial services, preferably with fixed‑income exposure.
• University degree in Finance, Economics or a quantitative discipline; progression toward CFA is a plus.
• Fluent English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
• Strong analytical, mathematical and communication abilities, with a proactive, team‑oriented mindset.
