Account Manager – Pharma Events Agency

About the role

The Account Manager will support the agency’s strategic direction and lead the delivery of complex pharma and healthcare events worldwide. Working closely with the senior leadership team, you will help shape growth initiatives, nurture client relationships and travel to event locations as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee client projects from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with pharma regulations.
• Lead and develop a project team, providing guidance on complex, high‑attendance events.
• Manage budgets of £1 million or more and monitor financial performance.
• Drive account growth, pitch new business and contribute to strategic planning.
• Coordinate international events, including logistics for delegates in the thousands.

Required profile

• Proven experience in pharma or healthcare events, with strong knowledge of compliance requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team and maintain or grow key accounts.
• Experience delivering international congress‑type events and handling large budgets.
• Preference for candidates based in the North West or Yorkshire, though remote work is possible.
