Accounts Assistant – Part‑Time (Hybrid)

About the role

Ecotricity New Ventures is seeking a part‑time Accounts Assistant to join its Transactional Finance team. Working hybrid, you will spend at least one day per week in the Stroud head office and provide additional on‑site support during month‑end periods.

Key responsibilities

• Process high‑volume invoices and credit notes.
• Raise weekly and ad‑hoc payments.
• Record supplier payments and customer receipts.
• Perform supplier and customer account reconciliations.
• Reconcile bank statements.
• Set up new suppliers and customers in the system.
• Liaise with Management Accountants and the wider finance team.
• Resolve queries and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Process expenses and other ad‑hoc transactional postings as required.
• Carry out administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, answering phones and processing mail.
• Use Microsoft Office applications, including Business Central.

Required profile

• Excellent attention to detail.
• Previous experience in a similar accounts assistant role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Team‑player attitude.
