Air Conditioning Engineer – Residential Installations

About the role

You will install internal water‑cooled patented air‑conditioning systems in occupied residential and heritage properties, commission them to full specification and own the quality from first fix to sign‑off.

Key responsibilities

• Install internal water‑cooled patented systems (Incognito / Discreet) to specification in occupied heritage and residential properties.
• Commission every system fully, completing checklists and providing evidence with no shortcuts.
• Represent the company in customers' homes – clean, courteous, tidy, on time and respectful of the property.
• Own the quality of your installations, rectifying any snags on your own work.
• Secure customer reviews and feedback at handover.
• Mentor and develop a supplied apprentice toward independent working.
• Maintain accurate, timely job records.

Required profile

• Proven air‑conditioning / refrigeration installation experience.
• F‑Gas certification.
• Customer‑facing manner – essential when working in people’s homes.
• High standards on finish, cleanliness and commissioning quality.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Comfortable with internal water‑cooled systems or able to learn quickly (training provided).

• Base salary £60,000 per year (top of market).
• Performance bonus up to £20,000 per year, based on quality metrics.
