About the role
We are looking for an Aircraft Avionics Fitter to join the MFTS operation at RAF Shawbury, supporting daily helicopter flying programmes and working under the Base Maintenance Manager.
Key responsibilities
- Assist Certifying Engineers in delivering serviceable aircraft for the daily flying programme.
- Ensure compliance with aviation regulations and company procedures.
- Carry out maintenance activities on avionics and electrical systems to a high standard.
- Support hangar operations, including aircraft movement and housekeeping.
Required profile
- Experience in an aviation engineering environment.
- Knowledge of UK CAA regulations.
- Good understanding of avionics and electrical systems.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
