About the role
Aircraft Engineering Services Ltd is seeking experienced Aircraft Mechanics for its Manchester base, supporting Ryanair’s fleet on a 4‑night/4‑off rotation. The role involves maintaining Boeing 737‑800 and the new 737‑8200 “Gamechanger” aircraft in a fast‑moving, safety‑critical environment.
Key responsibilities
- Perform routine servicing and defect rectification on Ryanair’s 737‑800 and 737‑8200 fleet.
- Provide Aircraft on Ground (AOG) recovery support to minimise downtime.
- Ensure compliance with all company procedures, health‑and‑safety regulations and industry standards.
- Report daily activities and issues to the Duty Engineer.
Required profile
- Self‑motivated professional able to work independently.
- Flexible attitude and ability to adapt to a rapidly changing schedule.
- Unrestricted right to live and work in the United Kingdom.
- Full UK/EU driving licence.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Required skills
- Aircraft line maintenance experience.
- Familiarity with Boeing 737‑NG/Max family aircraft (desirable).
- Good IT literacy, with experience of the AMOS maintenance system (desirable).
