Alternative Dispute Officer – Legal Disrepair

About the role

Join Clarion’s Legal Disrepair team as an Alternative Dispute Officer, working on complex housing‑related disputes. This hybrid position is based in Manchester or London and focuses on applying Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) principles to achieve fair, cost‑effective outcomes for residents.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end legal disrepair disputes, from receipt through resolution.
• Apply ADR techniques, conduct investigations, negotiate settlements and make evidence‑based decisions.
• Prepare witness statements, collate evidence and support trial preparation.
• Represent Clarion at court hearings when required.
• Travel across the region to support casework and maintain a resolution‑focused culture.

Required profile

• Proven experience in mediation, dispute resolution, complaint handling and complex case management.
• Background in managing legal disrepair or housing‑related disputes.
• Strong understanding of ADR principles and dispute‑resolution models.
