Analyst, Fund Placement

About the role

We are seeking an Analyst to join our boutique private fund placement and advisory team in London. The role supports the coordination of primary fundraises and GP‑led transactions, providing client‑side advice throughout the process.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare high‑quality fundraising materials, including detailed track‑record and portfolio analysis.
• Support investor due‑diligence processes and draft responses to investor requests.
• Assist in GP‑led transactions: portfolio analysis, investor information packages, tracking feedback, and bespoke reporting.
• Manage data rooms, documentation and investor access for primary and secondary mandates.
• Conduct market mapping and research on private equity, private debt and infrastructure fund managers.
• Coordinate client meetings, prepare materials, attend sessions and follow up on actions.
• Maintain internal databases, update CRM system and contribute to weekly client reporting.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in fund placement, investment banking, private equity or corporate finance/transaction advisory (including Big 4).
• Strong academic background.
• Experience producing pitchbooks or investor marketing materials with high attention to detail.
• Understanding of the private equity industry is a plus.
• Highly self‑motivated with strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a small entrepreneurial team.
• Sharp analytical and numerical capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
