Area Reserve Crewmember – Cash in Transit Driver

About the role

Join the Cash in Transit (CViT) team as an Area Reserve Crewmember, responsible for the safe and timely movement of cash and valuables across several UK depots. You will operate secure vehicles, support depot activities and ensure compliance with safety standards while travelling between Birmingham, Hemel, Norwich and Chester.

Key responsibilities

• Transport valuable consignments securely between depots and customer sites.
• Operate and maintain secure cash‑in‑transit vehicles.
• Provide operational support at depots, including loading, unloading and inventory checks.
• Adhere to health, safety and security procedures at all times.
• Travel within the designated area, including overnight stays when required.

Required profile

• Dependable team player with a strong commitment to safety and customer service.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities.
• Willingness to travel across multiple locations and stay overnight as needed.

Required skills

• Full UK driving licence.
• Valid SIA licence (must be obtained before start date).
• Excellent driving skills and knowledge of road traffic regulations.
