Art Director – Global Marketing Campaigns

About the role

As an Art Director at Burberry, you will shape and deliver compelling creative across a wide portfolio of global marketing campaigns. Working within the Art Direction team, you will bring ideas to life across stills, video and digital, ensuring each brief achieves creative excellence and commercial impact.

Key responsibilities

• Lead or support the development of creative strategy for diverse campaigns.
• Manage the end‑to‑end creative process from research and ideation through shoot and post‑production.
• Deliver high‑quality concept presentations that clearly articulate creative direction.
• Collaborate with Production to select and engage photographers, stylists and other talent.
• Direct on‑set execution and oversee post‑production to maintain consistency and quality.
• Develop and implement style guides across fashion, model and still‑life categories.
• Handle multiple projects simultaneously, meeting timelines and priorities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with external creative talent and stay connected to global trends.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Art Direction within luxury fashion, creative production or design environments.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating concept development and execution across stills and moving image.
• Excellent visual, verbal and written communication skills.
• Refined creative point of view that balances brand storytelling with commercial objectives.
• Strong eye for design, layout and typography, with on‑set directing experience.
• Collaborative mindset, self‑motivated, detail‑driven and culturally aware.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
