Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst – Bristol

About the role

Penguin Recruitment is supporting a UKAS‑accredited asbestos consultancy seeking an experienced Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to join their team covering Bristol, Gloucester, Oxford and surrounding regions. The role offers a balanced mix of surveying and analytical duties across commercial, industrial, education, healthcare and public sector sites.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out Management and Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys in line with HSG264.
• Undertake air monitoring, 4‑stage clearances, leak testing, reassurance testing and re‑occupation certification following HSG248.
• Conduct bulk asbestos sampling and ensure compliance with company procedures.
• Produce accurate and compliant asbestos survey and analytical reports.
• Manage own workload with support from an established operations team.

Required profile

• BOHS P402, P403 and P404 qualifications (essential).
• Experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst.
• Strong understanding of HSG264, HSG248 and current asbestos legislation.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Professional, organised and reliable approach to work.
