Assistant Manager – Retail Store

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Manager to join our London store and help drive retail excellence. You will work closely with the Shop Manager to inspire the team, deliver strong sales results, and create an engaging, purpose‑driven customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Shop Manager in leading a motivated team to meet sales and performance targets.
• Deliver a customer‑focused store experience by promoting products, campaigns and activism.
• Use KPI data to make informed commercial decisions and optimise store performance.
• Manage stock levels, monitor changes and ensure visual standards are maintained.
• Identify and attract high‑potential candidates, and develop existing team members.
• Resolve customer and operational issues proactively using available resources.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a customer‑facing role with people leadership and team development.
• Ability to meet sales targets and organise work efficiently.
• Collaborative mindset and strong communication skills.
• Interest in the beauty market, competitors and product knowledge.

Required skills

• Experience using KPI data to drive business decisions.
