Associate Consultant – Integrated Logistics Support

About the role

RT Consulting is seeking an Associate Consultant to join its Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) team, delivering logistics and sustainment solutions for defence and public‑sector programmes across the Southwest of the UK.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement logistics support solutions across the lifecycle of complex defence systems.
• Manage obsolescence, in‑service support and sustainment for legacy equipment.
• Provide expert guidance on supportability engineering, maintenance planning and logistics governance.
• Work on client sites 2‑3 days per week, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ensure alignment with ILS strategy, principles and best practice.

Required profile

• Experienced ILS professional with a strong background in logistics support for defence systems.
• Proven ability to manage obsolescence and sustainment of legacy equipment.
• Comfortable operating in regulated, secure environments.
• Able to work in ambiguous and evolving contexts.
• Active Standard Check (SC) security clearance or ability to obtain one.
