Associate Director – Structural Engineering

About the role

We are seeking an Associate Director of Structural Engineering to lead our growing Oxfordshire team. The role offers flexible hybrid working, comprehensive training, and a competitive benefits package.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and deliver structural engineering projects across residential, commercial and mixed‑use sectors from concept to completion.
• Manage design, documentation and project delivery to ensure compliance with quality standards and deadlines.
• Act as the primary client contact, maintaining strong communication and satisfaction.
• Provide technical leadership on complex design issues and sign off work produced by engineers and technicians.
• Develop and nurture new and existing client relationships to support business growth.
• Mentor junior engineers, supporting their chartership and technical development.

Required profile

• Chartered Engineer (CEng MICE or MIStructE) with at least 10 years of structural design and project delivery experience.
• Proven track record in a consultancy environment.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Proficiency in Tekla, Tedds and familiarity with Revit/BIM processes.
• Strong knowledge of Eurocodes, British Standards and Building Regulations.
• Experience applying BIM methodologies.
