Audit Manager (Spanish) – International Institutions & Donor Assurance

About the role

BDO is seeking an Audit Manager fluent in Spanish to join its International Institutions and Donor Assurance (IIDA) team in London. You will work with high‑profile clients such as UN agencies and the European Commission, delivering audits, certifications and consultancy services that support global development projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead audit engagements for international donors, preparing audit plans that reflect grant terms and conditions.
• Conduct virtual and face‑to‑face meetings in English and French, coordinating audit teams and ensuring timely delivery of reports.
• Write and review audit documentation, present findings to senior stakeholders and represent BDO at international forums.
• Travel to client sites as required, gaining insight into the development sector and donor community.

Required profile

• Professional accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, DEC or equivalent) – preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish with excellent written and spoken English.
• Solid audit experience, preferably with international or public‑sector clients.
• Strong interest in international development and donor assurance.
