Audit Senior – Beaconsfield

About the role

We are seeking an Audit Senior to lead complex audit engagements for a growing accountancy firm in Beaconsfield. You will manage assignments from planning through to sign‑off while developing your technical expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Lead audit assignments from planning to completion and sign‑off.
• Supervise, support and review work of junior team members.
• Communicate directly with clients, managing timelines, budgets and expectations.
• Review financial statements, assess internal controls and identify audit risks.
• Handle complex audit areas such as group audits, acquisitions and restructures.

Required profile

• Previous experience in audit within an accountancy practice.
• Studying towards or qualified in ACA, ACCA or CA (or qualified by experience).
• Strong knowledge of UK accounting and auditing standards, including Companies Act requirements.
• Confidence in leading audits, managing multiple deadlines and client interaction.
• Ability to identify risk, solve problems and escalate technical matters.
