Audit Senior – Corporate Clients (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join our Manchester team, working with a diverse portfolio of corporate clients in a hybrid working environment. This role offers the chance to lead complex audit assignments and develop your career within a supportive, forward‑thinking firm.

Key responsibilities

• Lead audit assignments from planning through to finalisation.
• Review work prepared by junior team members and provide constructive feedback.
• Mentor and support trainees, contributing to their development.
• Build strong relationships with clients across a varied portfolio.
• Identify risk areas and ensure audits comply with regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with wider teams to deliver a seamless client experience.
• Utilise modern audit tools and technology to enhance efficiency and quality.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA or CA qualified, or nearing qualification.
• Strong external audit experience within an accountancy practice.
• Proven ability to lead audits and manage multiple assignments.
• Solid understanding of UK GAAP and/or IFRS.
• Confident communicator comfortable engaging with clients and senior stakeholders.
• Proactive and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
