Band 6 Outpatient Pharmacist – London (Full‑time/Contract)

About the role

We are seeking a Band 6 Outpatient Pharmacist to join an NHS hospital in London. The role offers a competitive hourly rate of £25‑£26 and can be taken on a full‑time or part‑time basis, with an initial minimum contract of three months.

Key responsibilities

• Provide outpatient pharmacy services to patients, including dispensing and medication counselling.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective medication use.
• Maintain accurate patient records and comply with GPhC standards.
• Support the pharmacy team in managing stock and handling prescriptions.

Required profile

• Current registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
• Previous experience in a hospital pharmacy setting (beneficial).
• Eligibility to work in the UK.

Required skills

• Knowledge of NHS pharmacy procedures and regulations.
• Ability to work within a 9 am‑5 pm Monday‑Friday schedule, with flexibility for alternative patterns.
