Banking & Finance Associate (2‑4 PQE) – London

About the role

The firm is seeking a Banking & Finance Associate with 2‑4 years post‑qualification experience to join its London banking team. You will work on a diverse portfolio of lender and borrower financing transactions, with a strong emphasis on real‑estate finance and corporate finance matters.

Key responsibilities

• Manage financing transactions from inception to completion, including due‑diligence and documentation.
• Draft and negotiate bespoke finance agreements, security documents and related paperwork.
• Provide day‑to‑day client contact and act as a trusted adviser on complex finance structures.
• Collaborate closely with partners and senior lawyers, ensuring high‑quality delivery and commercial insight.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor in England & Wales.
• 2‑4 years PQE with solid experience advising lenders and/or borrowers.
• Demonstrated ability to handle general banking and finance transactions in private practice.
• Strong academic record.

Required skills

• Drafting and negotiating finance documentation.
• Transaction management across real‑estate and corporate finance deals.
• Client relationship management.
