About the role
Our client, an established law firm, is looking for an experienced paralegal to support two busy partners in Real Estate Finance and Commercial Property. The role offers a varied workload and requires at least two years of relevant experience.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare Completion Statements, including Land Registry and Companies House fees.
- Draft initial versions of lender’s standard form transaction documents in redline.
- Complete Risk Assessment forms and ensure AML/KYC compliance on each file.
- Produce client care letters and scope of work documents using the firm’s standard templates.
- Perform ledger reading to track monies in, out, and on account.
- File SDLTs and carry out property searches via Infotrack.
- Execute Companies House and Land Registry registrations promptly.
- Handle winding‑up searches, indemnities, CHAPS and BACS payments.
Required profile
- Minimum two years’ experience in real estate finance or commercial property paralegal work.
- Proven ability to support senior partners in a fast‑paced legal environment.
- Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
