Barista Maestro – Team Leader (Torquay)

About the role

Costa Coffee is looking for an enthusiastic Barista Maestro to lead a shift in its Torquay store. As a Team Leader you will create a welcoming atmosphere, ensure coffee quality and support your colleagues throughout the day.

Key responsibilities

• Lead smooth, efficient shifts and keep the store running effectively.
• Train, coach and support new Baristas to reach Costa standards.
• Motivate the team, fostering energy and confidence on every shift.
• Maintain high standards of service and coffee excellence.
• Use resourcefulness and adaptability to resolve any operational issues.

Required profile

• A reliable role model with accountability and maturity.
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
• Energetic, positive and confident when leading others.
• Adaptable, resourceful and calm under pressure.
• Previous experience as a team leader or a strong willingness to step into the role.

Required skills

• Barista expertise and coffee preparation knowledge.
• Ability to operate coffee machines and point‑of‑sale equipment.
• Leadership and team‑motivation capabilities.
