Recreation Supervisor

About the role

Join Fairmont Southampton, a luxury resort, as a Recreation Supervisor. You will oversee daily operations of the resort’s recreation facilities and support the Recreation Manager in delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of Beach Club, Spa Pool, Golf, Resort Pools, and Kids’ Camp, ensuring safety and cleanliness.
• Support program development, recommend seasonal activities, and monitor guest participation.
• Supervise, mentor, and schedule the Recreation team, providing performance feedback.
• Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and coordinate with other departments.
• Maintain records of program participation, equipment usage, incident reports, and assist with inventory management.

Required profile

• Minimum 2+ years of recreation experience in a supervisory role.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Recreation, Hospitality, Tourism or related field preferred.
• Strong customer service orientation, organizational and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, walk between facilities, and lift up to 25 lb.
