Bordereaux Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Bordereaux Manager to lead a high‑performing team within the London insurance market. You will own the end‑to‑end bordereaux process, ensuring accurate data handling, regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the Bordereaux team, providing technical guidance.
• Oversee collection, validation, reconciliation and processing of risk and paid bordereaux.
• Manage binding authorities and delegated authority agreements in line with FCA and Lloyd's requirements.
• Monitor service levels, identify process improvements and drive operational efficiencies.
• Act as escalation point for complex bordereaux, accounting and operational queries.
• Maintain strong relationships with brokers, coverholders, insurers and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure accurate reporting, data quality controls and audit compliance.
• Support onboarding of new binders and delegated authority arrangements.

Required profile

• Significant experience in Bordereaux Management, Delegated Authority Operations or Underwriting Operations within the London market.
• Proven leadership and team development experience.
• Strong knowledge of binding authorities, bordereaux reporting and regulatory frameworks (FCA, Lloyd's).
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
