About the role
The Business Development Manager will drive revenue growth by identifying, developing, and converting new business opportunities while expanding existing client relationships. You will own pipeline development, support strategic pursuits, and ensure smooth progression from opportunity identification to conversion.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline.
- Lead proposal creation, pitch preparation, and client presentations.
- Generate leads, manage CRM data, and track opportunities.
- Coordinate operational delivery of business development activities, including meetings and events.
- Collaborate with marketing and cross‑functional teams to align timelines, reporting, and delivery.
- Maintain project plans, schedules, and documentation.
Required profile
- 5‑8 years of experience in business development, sales, or client services within medical communications, healthcare, or pharmaceutical environments.
- Proven experience delivering proposals, pitches, and client presentations.
- Commercially minded with a strong grasp of the business development lifecycle.
- Excellent organisational and time‑management abilities, handling multiple priorities.
- Strong communication skills to simplify complex updates and build relationships at all levels.
- Familiarity with agency structures, medical communications services, and client engagement models.
