Business Travel Consultant (Hybrid)

About the role

We are recruiting for an award‑winning, ambitious travel management company expanding its UK operations. The Business Travel Consultant role is varied, covering straightforward bookings to complex, multi‑sector itineraries for corporate clients. You will join a supportive team that values excellent service, accuracy and ownership.

Key responsibilities

• Manage corporate travel bookings from enquiry through to completion.
• Book flights, rail, hotels, car hire and other travel services.
• Handle changes, reissues, refunds and cancellations.
• Use fares and GDS knowledge to provide cost‑effective, policy‑compliant solutions.
• Support travellers during urgent changes and disruption.
• Work within client travel policies and agreed service levels.
• Maintain accuracy to minimise ADMs and billing errors.
• Support colleagues during busy periods.

Required profile

• Previous business or corporate travel experience.
• Working knowledge of Sabre, Amadeus or another relevant GDS.
• Good fares knowledge and experience managing changes and reissues.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage changing priorities.
• A positive and collaborative approach.
• Experience with complex itineraries, VIP travel, invoicing or bill‑backs is useful but not essential.
