Care Assistant – Day Shifts (Harlow)

About the role

Join the compassionate team at Ashlyn Care Home in Harlow, providing physical, emotional and social support to older residents. You will work day shifts, helping residents maintain independence, dignity and a high quality of life.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with mealtimes and personal care, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Complete daily documentation, including record keeping, charts and care plans.
• Engage residents in meaningful activities and promote choice and respect.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a care setting is ideal, but a caring, kind approach and desire to work with older people are essential.
• Reliability, dedication and a team‑oriented attitude.

• £13.45‑£13.85 per hour (36 hours/week, 8 am‑8 pm, including alternate weekends).
