CEO / Managing Director – New TICC Buy‑Build Group

About the role

Independence Capital is launching a new buy‑build platform focused on the TICC (Technology, Information, Communications, and Consulting) market. The successful candidate will become the Chair and CEO, shaping the strategic direction and organisational design before the first acquisition.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the overall strategy for the new TICC group.
• Lead the identification, acquisition and integration of niche, sub‑scale providers.
• Build a high‑performing executive team and governance structure.
• Drive EBITDA growth and prepare the platform for a dual‑track exit to trade or private equity.
• Represent the group to investors, partners and portfolio companies.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience at board level.
• At least 10 years working within the TICC sector.
• Proven track record of delivering scale and EBITDA growth.
• Prior private‑equity experience or successful exit delivery is highly desirable.
• Open to finance, operations, commercial or product leaders transitioning to a first MD role.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of the TICC market and its competitive dynamics.
• Strong strategic planning and organisational design capabilities.
• Experience in M&A, integration and value‑creation programmes.
• Ability to commit personal capital to the acquisition vehicle.
