About the role
We are seeking a Chemistry Teacher for Key Stages 3 and 4 at a highly‑rated secondary school in North London. This permanent, full‑time position starts in September 2026 (or earlier) and offers a competitive salary package.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, deliver and assess the KS3 and KS4 Chemistry curriculum.
- Maintain a safe and well‑equipped laboratory environment.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and the science technician to develop departmental resources.
- Provide targeted support to capable students and contribute to their academic progress.
- Uphold the school’s outstanding standards and behaviour expectations.
Required profile
- Qualified teacher (ECT) about to achieve full certification.
- Passion for chemistry and a commitment to high academic standards.
- Ability to work with motivated students who require minimal behaviour management.
- Willingness to contribute to a collaborative, high‑performing teaching team.
