Class 1 Driver – Dayshift (Manchester)

About the role

DX Network Services is seeking a reliable Class 1 driver for a dayshift position in Manchester. You will join a team that values safety, punctuality and excellent customer service while delivering parcels and freight across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Transport goods to and from customer premises and central hubs within the DX delivery network.
• Plan and follow on‑road routes to meet time‑sensitive delivery deadlines.
• Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections and report any defects.
• Comply with all health, safety and legal requirements, including driver’s hours and WTD legislation.
• Adapt routes as needed due to traffic, signage or other road conditions.

Required profile

• Hold a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence with no more than 6 points and no DD/DR convictions.
• Possess a current, valid DCPC card.
• Demonstrated ability to work safely and legally on public roads.
• Commitment to adhering to on‑site health and safety standards.
