Cleaner – Full‑time or Part‑time at Leonardslee Gardens

About the role

We are looking for a reliable, detail‑oriented Cleaner to maintain the exceptional cleanliness and presentation throughout the stunning Leonardslee Lakes & Gardens estate. You will keep public and staff areas spotless, helping create memorable experiences for visitors in this Grade I listed garden.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and maintain public and staff areas, including outdoor spaces, corridors, offices, restrooms and dining areas.
• Replenish supplies to ensure all areas remain well‑stocked and inviting.
• Perform manual cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping and waste removal.
• Report maintenance issues or low inventory promptly to management.
• Interact politely with guests, responding to requests efficiently and courteously.

Required profile

• Previous cleaning experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering high‑quality presentation.
• Excellent time‑management skills; able to work independently or as part of a small team.
• Reliable, punctual and flexible with working hours, including weekends.
• Physically capable of prolonged standing, lifting, bending and carrying.
• Own transport advantageous due to location.
