Clerical Officer – Health Records Support

About the role

The Clerical Officer will provide essential administrative support to the Health Records service, helping clinical teams deliver safe and efficient patient care. This position ensures that appointments, admissions and medical documentation are processed accurately and securely.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and process patient appointments for clinics, day cases and inpatient admissions.
• Maintain confidentiality and secure storage of health records, ensuring they are available when needed.
• Provide comprehensive clerical and administrative assistance to medical and nursing staff.
• Support the efficient operation of the Health Records department in line with NHS policies.
