Client Lead

About the role

The Client Lead is responsible for ensuring that client projects are delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard. Acting as the day‑to‑day point of contact, you will translate briefs into clear deliverables, coordinate work across the agency and safeguard account margins.

Key responsibilities

• Own the operational success of multiple accounts, managing timelines, milestones and delivery coordination without a separate project‑management layer.
• Take ownership of brief intake, work with channel specialists to define deliverables, set targets and run kick‑off/onboarding sessions.
• Maintain the client portal as the single source of truth and act as the primary communication hub for day‑to‑day client interactions.
• Monitor budgets, hours and resource utilisation, flagging overruns, scope creep and protecting account margin.
• Escalate risks, retention issues or commercial scope changes to the revenue owner within defined timeframes.

Required profile

• Strong operational instincts with the ability to juggle multiple accounts, sequence work and keep delivery on track under competing demands.
• Confident client communicator who can own relationships, present work clearly and provide constructive feedback.
• Commercially aware, understanding budgets, margins and the difference between activity and results.
• Comfortable making decisions, holding others to deadlines and thriving in a fast‑paced, shifting‑priority environment.
• Demonstrates radical candour – giving praise, motivational feedback and constructive challenge as needed.
