Clinical Negligence Lawyer (NQ)

About the role

We are seeking a newly qualified Clinical Negligence Lawyer to join our award‑winning team in Berkshire. You will work autonomously on complex medical negligence matters, guiding cases from inception to resolution while maintaining a client‑focused approach.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a full caseload of clinical negligence claims, including strategy development and case progression.
• Liaise with clients, medical experts and other stakeholders to gather evidence and provide clear advice.
• Draft legal documents, negotiate settlements and, where necessary, issue and serve proceedings.
• Identify matters ready for LOC, settlement or service and ensure timely completion of all required steps.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor (or equivalent) with experience in clinical negligence on a fee‑earning basis.
• Strong organisational, time‑management and communication abilities.
• High attention to detail and commercial awareness within a legal environment.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
