Clinical Negligence Solicitor – £55k+ (3+ yrs PQE)

About the role

We are seeking a Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join our Birmingham team. This full‑time position offers the chance to manage a diverse portfolio of clinical negligence claims while contributing to business development and operational initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of litigated and pre‑litigated clinical negligence claims.
• Conduct detailed investigations to assess and resolve claims.
• Liaise with claimants, solicitors, clients, counsel, and expert witnesses.
• Obtain documentation, instruct experts and prepare case files.
• Support and lead client‑facing and business development activities.
• Supervise and mentor junior team members.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years post‑qualification experience in clinical negligence.
• Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team approach.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
