About the role

The Legists is seeking an experienced Clinical Negligence Solicitor to lead its specialist dental negligence team in Berkshire. This senior position combines strategic oversight with hands‑on case management, ensuring high‑quality client outcomes and driving the department’s growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a team of solicitors and support staff.
• Oversee complex dental negligence claims from inception to resolution.
• Set performance targets, monitor productivity and implement best‑practice processes.
• Collaborate with senior partners to shape the team’s strategic direction.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and firm policies.

Required profile

• Minimum of 4 years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in clinical negligence.
• Proven track record of managing and leading a legal team.
• Strong commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
• Resilient, positive leadership style with excellent communication skills.
• Analytical mindset and ability to work with legal technology.
