Cloud/DevOps Platform Administrator

About the role

This contract position is for a Cloud/DevOps Platform Administrator who will manage and optimise the client’s tooling infrastructure, primarily GitLab, Jira and Confluence. The role is remote within the UK with occasional travel to London or Manchester.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure reliability, security and performance of GitLab, Jira and Confluence platforms.
• Configure access rights, manage user permissions and support internal teams with platform usage.
• Monitor and troubleshoot platform issues, applying best‑practice DevOps processes.
• Assist with cloud migration activities and maintain platform documentation.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to align tooling with business needs.

Required profile

• Strong experience administering GitLab, Jira and Confluence.
• Proficiency with InSpec for compliance testing.
• Solid understanding of DevOps practices and cloud migration concepts.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively across multiple teams.
