Collateralized Loan Obligation (CLO) Funds & Loan Operations Associate

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Collateralized Loan Obligation (CLO) Funds & Loan Operations Associate to join our Manchester‑based team. The role focuses on onboarding, administering and managing CLO and leveraged loan portfolios while driving process automation and data quality.

Key responsibilities

• Review and validate loan documentation, including LMA and LSTA agreements, to support asset onboarding.
• Maintain accurate loan positions, settlements, cash‑flows and reference data across portfolios.
• Support CLO warehouse facilities with funding requests, portfolio and investor reporting.
• Perform quality assurance of operational workflows and ensure compliance with controls and escalation procedures.
• Utilise loan administration platforms such as Solvas, Loan IQ or Polaris.
• Lead process‑improvement initiatives using automation, AI and data analytics to reduce manual effort.
• Collaborate with portfolio managers, trustees, lenders, investors and internal stakeholders on day‑to‑day operations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in CLO and structured credit operations.
• Hands‑on knowledge of leveraged and syndicated loan documentation (LMA, LSTA).
• Experience with loan administration platforms (Solvas, Loan IQ, Polaris).
• Strong background in cash‑flow, funding management and portfolio reporting.
• Ability to ensure data governance and quality assurance.
